Mission Statement

The establishment of Tsechen Jampa Ling, named and inaugurated by His Holiness Kyabgon Gongma Trichen Dorje Chang, is to promote a deeper understanding of the Teachings and practices of Tibetan Buddhism in particular as well as to foster a deeper understanding of the Tibetan heritage and culture that holds the precious lineages of Buddhist Vajrayana practice.

Through cultivating a rich relationship with teachers of all traditions of the Tibetan Buddhist schools in general, and the Sakya order in particular, a continuing education in Buddhist Sutra and Tantra, philosophy, religious practices, and life skills will be upheld in order to benefit practitioners and the communities in which the center is established.

By hosting various teachings, empowerments, practices, and transmissions, a continuous flow of the teachings long upheld in various Eastern traditions over millennia will continue to thrive in the modern era in the West ensuring the continuous propagation of the holy Buddhadharma for the benefit of all mother sentient beings.

         大慈彌勒寺 宗旨

大慈彌勒寺由尊貴的第41任薩迦法王賜命並開光，旨在促進對藏傳佛教教法、哲學體系和修持的深入了解，並促進對藏傳佛教金剛乘珍貴傳承和文化的深入學習。

我們通過與藏傳佛教各派，特別是薩迦派教師建立的聯繫，堅持開展佛經、密宗、哲學、宗教實踐和生活實踐方面的持續教育，以造福修行者及其所在的社區。

通過舉辦各種法會、灌頂、修行和經教活動，我們將千百年來在東方傳統中長期堅持的教法在現代西方繼續弘揚，確保珍貴神聖佛法的持續傳播，造福所有如母有情眾生。

• 堪仁波切蔣巴 (Khen Rinpoche Jampa , 1969- ) 出生于四川省甘孜藏族自治州德格县，14岁时，进入当地寺院（隶属萨迦传承）广泛学习佛教宗教仪轨、坛城制作等。17岁至19岁时，堪仁波切于藏地深山处进行了两年的寂静闭关，修持本尊四臂付魔金刚手、吉祥喜金刚以及大日如来。閉關圓滿后，值遇怙主錄頂堪千仁波切第一次回藏地傳法，于其座下領受具足比丘戒。1990年堪仁波切辗转途径尼泊尔来到印度， 与其他52名学生进入北印度宗萨佛学院 （ http://dzongsarinstitute.org.in/ch/   ），依止伟大的堪千贡嘎旺秋仁波切 (1921 - 2008)，精进每日闻思修行显密教法。

• 2009年，依根本上師逹欽法王愿，前往美國擔任西雅圖薩迦寺住持。現今於世界各地不辭辛勞地教授佛教哲學,佛經典籍以及無上瑜伽密續等中高級佛學課程。同時仁波切層擔任國際藏傳佛教不分教派聯合會前任主席、創辦並擔任西藏教育基金會主席、創辦組織了北美薩迦世界和平祈願法會委員會、並於 2017 年至 2019 年擔任主席。
